Niantic Bay Yacht Club Niantic, CT August 6-9, 2006 Area Marinas, Launch Ramps and Marine Supplies There are 2 public launch ramps in located in Niantic’s inner bay. One is a large CT State Ramp located in Waterford just across the Niantic River Bridge on RT 156. The other is the East Lyme town ramp located on the east side of the inner bay. There are several marinas in the Niantic inner bay with private launch ramps, transient slips and other service facilities Directions to Public launch Ramps (also see map section for locations) State of CT ramp at Waterford – travel east on RT 156 across the Niantic Bay Bridge. Just over the bridge about ¼ mile follow the signs to the left leading to the ramp. This ramp is about 1.5 miles from the Hole in the Wall. Town of East Lyme ramp – from traffic light at the end of RT 161 (Pennsylvania Ave) follow RT 156 east. Take your 2nd left on Smith Ave and your first right on Grand Ave. Ramp at end of street. This is only for those boats who have registered as coach or support boats for this regatta. Please make your arrangements for where to store your trailer directly with these marinas.
